Painting my stairs ,landing and hallway
The house was built 1934 with very tall staircase please can someone advise how to paint over the wallpaper which is still good in appearance hopefully this will stop the need to remove ,re-paper and paint all the walls mentioned.

Hi ssrout,
I would recommend a quality emulsion paint such as dulux once, cheaper paints are not economical as they often require two coats.
You can apply the paint with rollors on a extension pole or better still paint pads, these make painting easy!
