Although I didn't order the Starwars boxset I did buy the Indiana Jones/monty Python ones in the last round of Amazon price mistakes. I opted for supersaver delivery and the sets had arrived when I got home from work today.

I guess it doesn't matter which delivery option you choose. Maybe it's getting your order in quickly that determines wether you receive them or not.

When I ordered the Indiana Jones Boxset last week I received this same e-mail on Friday night but the DVD's arrived by Royal Mail on Saturday morning. I also received a dispatch notice e-mail from them on Saturday morning (after it was supposedly cancelled) so don't give up hope yet.

I have just received a dispatch notice for the Star Wars Boxset too so thanks again to the Original Poster - I now have two happy sons.

I've just had a PM from someone who is under the misapprehension that this thread is locked. It isn't!

The [CLOSED] in the title is there to denote that the offer itself is over. However you can still post to the thread.

For future reference, when a thread is locked it has a padlock symbol in the left side of the thread listings and you will also be unable to post any replies to that thread.
