Give it a try. If it doesnt work get a very very fine sand/glass paper designed for metal and then polish it up after0

I imagine Brasso will just "fill" them in. The best method would be to polish it using a very soft but high speed polishing cloth disc.0

That's what people say, though personally I wouldn't use it on anything electrical, especially something as expensive as the iPod.Mr_Kennedy wrote: »I have heard Brasso works is this true?

I bought this to get rid of light scratches on the car, its pricey though.

I'm NOT endorsing the Ebay seller, you can get it at Motor factors, its just the first link that came up when I Googled. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
How about T Cut if the scratches are only minor and not too deep it might just be the solution.... another tip use it to remove scratches from cd and dvd dics too:hello: Lets all save a £ or two, lets all earn a £ or two, and lets all enjoy spending that £ or two wisely.

That's meant for cars isn't it? What's it made of?How about T Cut[?]0 -
Yes it is made for cars and made to remove minor scratches from paintwork and body work, and yes it works on your cd dvd and games discs and why not the back of an Ipod too if the scratches are minor and not too deep.
What its made of i am not sure but if you need to know i can get my can from the garage?:hello: Lets all save a £ or two, lets all earn a £ or two, and lets all enjoy spending that £ or two wisely.

No need; just curious. The marketing blurb for T-Cut Color Fast mentions a "special blend of polymers, pigmented resin and wax". Some sort of filler, perhaps? Sounds pretty harmless, but there's really no way to tell. What its made of i am not sure but if you need to know i can get my can from the garage
Is this of any use?0 -
Dont use the colour version just the plain old fashioed T Cut i bet most people have a tin in their garage. If not Mr Kennedy ask a friendor neighbour i bet a tin is close by.:hello: Lets all save a £ or two, lets all earn a £ or two, and lets all enjoy spending that £ or two wisely.

You could give Duraglit (or similar) wadding a try - Asda used to do (possibly still do) a version of this in their £1 section. I use it for polishing up the brass door furniture, but it also works wonders on removing scratches on DVD's. Just tear off a piece of the wadding from the can and gently rub over the scratch.
Au Res.,
