Just had to sit an ebay test - no joke!

Had a listing cancelled for key word spamming. It's the 3rd identical auction so not sure how the others got through. And there were no key words either. Can only guess it's because I put 'New Improved' which it says on the item box.

Anyway I had to do a test before it would let me relist. Ridiculous, I just made up the answers got a rubbish score and was able to relist the items. I HATE EBAY....

Uuuuuugh! Can't wait to get rid of my last few bits of stuff!!!

  • First i've heard of a test to relist items - though i've never had one removed because of 'key word spamming'

    If you have to do it again - get a picture of it - would love to see it :D

    You can not use the word new in any context in your title if the item is not new. I wonder if 'weekend in New York' would get pulled?

    I had to do test about trademarks and copyright....this is after someone hacked my account and listed fake items and was resolved by Ebay! I wasn't allowed to list anything til I had done the test. Was rather peeved as I wasn't the one who had broken any rules.

    Ebay = big brother/god.

    It's become more like a cult than an auction site these days...
