I'd go for the gammon and pineapple, with a fried egg on top. Blow the calories! :D

I know it sounds gross...but sometimes we put pineapple in curry! we first did it when on holiday and we were trying to improvise with what we could find it the shops but it was surprisingly nice...honest!

Cheese and pineapple or ham and pineapple taosted sandwich? More of a lunch than a main meal though...

Or grated cheese and pineapple /ham and pineapple on a baked tattie.

Other than that, my initial thoughts were sweet and sour or pizza...

Hawaian Surprise (well, that's what my mother always called it!)

Slice of bread, toasted on one side
Topped with slice of ham, pineapple ring and grated cheese.
Grated cheese then melted under the grill.

    Ab-so-lutely delicious!!

Its nice in curry - we do it that way.
You can add a pot of peach or pineapple yoghurt as well. I prefer my curry mildish though. (i know, it sounds disgusting but its really nice:D )
  • I used to do a dish called "Chicken Marie Rose" which was basically skinned chicken breasts and pineapple (tinned if preferred). You placed the chicken in an ovenproof dish. Put 2 oz softened butter in a basin and then added 1 level tbsp plain flour, 2 level tbsp tomato ketchup, 2 tsp mustard, seasoning, 1 level tbsp worcester sauce, 1 level tbsp vinegar and half the chopped pineapple. Spread this mixture over chicken and sprinkle with remaining chopped pineapple. Cover with foil and put in fridge to marinate. Bake at 190for about 1 hour, without foil. At end of cooking, thicken sauce with a little cornflour if required. Always went down a treat and I was asked the recipe many times. (Maybe not the prettiest looking dish though!)
