I know i kicked off big time when i bought mine, especially considering i was buying a cooker, washing machine and tumble dryer from them at the same time!!! I told a little fib and said that currys would deliver it all for £15 and in the end they caved in and said ok we will do it for £15. The reason apparently that they charge so much is that on a lot of houses they have to take the doors of the fridge freezer to actually get it in the house, they are massive!! I know they wouldnt have to at my house, as i had a giant whole in kichen wall where it was being extended so i told them that as well. :)

I already have a complaint letter sent to Comet regarding the Delivery men on this Freezer one actually said he would sue me If it toppled on him I was Gobsmacked!!! I paid 49.95 to have it delivered and get verbal abuse from the Delivery guys..............and now they reduce it by £400 Grhhhhhhhhhh

My local council will take away old fridges & freezers for free. I'm sure I heard that was a nationwide policy.

Some of the american freezers are delivered by the manufacturer and that charge is around £50. Comet quoted us £16 for delivery of a big freezer last week and we are about three miles from our nearest one. We got a better deal from Currys so went there instead. They could also deliver sooner.

I've recently bought a Panasonic plasma from richersounds and after a week they have lowered price by £200. I've asked for refund of difference £200, which they refunded

Tried to buy from comet several times but turned down by their approach, as they either won't match with their web price or currys price or their *delivery charges.*

Always happy with currys as we have (Thanks MSE voucher boards) free delivery / discount codes which always saves me some hard earned money
