Well not strictly PPI claim couldn't get that back but I sent them a letter last week regarding the late payment fee of £20.00 that they slap on you. Got letter today they have paid my account off £118.00 and sent me vouchers for £125.00 to make up the £240.00 that I was claiming. OK I have to use the vouchers with them but better than a kick up the backside trouble is nothing really I want from them could I insist on the money or should I look alittle harder to use the vouchers with them this all only took a week, they stated that they are reviewing their charges due to the OFT ruling so that is good, they admitted no fault it was a good will gesture. Can't be bad eh for 1 stamp and 9 days to give it me all back.:j

OOOh, I paid mine 2 days late cos I was on leave and they charged me £20, I don't actually owe them anything, do they charge PPI? Maybe I will will write/e-mail them.

thanks everyone for all your kind words
we got told on monday there were going to be redundancies, tuesday I was told it was between me and my colleague then yesterday at 4pm i drew the short straw.
only been there 2 1/2 years but loved it - its just cos of the credit crunch and the housing market I am (was) an interior designer for a builder/developer so saw it coming but its still a shock.
so I have more time now to chase more complaints - so watch this space

    Good morning All

Laini can you confirm that this isn't actually a mortgage? Or if it is can you tell me your original fixed rate and then what variable rate it changed too. As at the moment looking at the calculations you were either paying 8.5% (fixed) interest at the start and it went up to 11.75% (variable) or thereabouts at the end. And sorry to bother you so early what term length was the mortgage over?

    Hi M
It was a secured loan over 300mths
    8.9apr variable
then on another section below the key financial
8.592% this rate is charged on outstanding balance calculated daily from the date the loans are made until repaid in full debited monthly arrears

    hope this makes sense
