    Hi Di

How your son now have you heard back from LEA? Hope things get sorted is he back at school.

You lucky to have your sister coming down and being an accountant she should short your paperwork out:rotfl:

    Hi there Maxdp

Thanks for asking hun and yes he is gradually getting there and happy now the schools have a week off.
Also as they have the first Monday off after the week off due to inset teacher training he is well chuffed and will probably spend a bit of time up his aunts farm.;)

The deputy head rang yesterday and agreed for him to remain at home until something is sorted out, so hubby called at the school for some work to get on with, he has been getting on with that, and on the day he goes back, me, hubby and son have an appointment first with the main head of the school, and further arrangement will be made for a meet up between us, the LEA, ED pysch etc, sorry was meant to post yesterday to update.

Thanks so much for asking.:A xx

Yes she is actually a solicitors chartered accountant, and this has been her only job since she left uni, she is 46 now or coming up to that age lol.

I need to nab her while I can.......:D , there are so many to deal with, where I would take months, she will get them all checked within a day lol.

I hope Tiggrae does come along at some point hun, not on hols is she by any chance ?

You defo should have yours back and yours was very unfair, you hardly had a penny back with yours and I think its disgusting !

But yes if Tiggrae came along maybe she could clarify on this.;)

I am still here but just getting all this paperwork in order for my sister, its everywhere lol, the one I have here in front of me know was a lloyds loan with ppi, joint loan:

    Loan £10K
    monthly repayment £154.23

    PPI £2,241
    Monthly repayment: £154.23

    Total loan
    £12,241.37
Monthly total repayment (comes out together) as £188.80

    Price of loan protection: £2,241.37
    Interest on loan protection: £662.42
    Total price of PPI: £2,903.79

    Regenerated cross in loan protection.

    22 Dec 2004
    loan: £10,000
insurance £2,241.37 in account total of £12,241.37

    84 months loan

    10 repayments made of £188.80

interest ranged from £73 to £79 a month

Final payment made was £9,676.45 and other £1,658.23

    Interest charged = £65.40
    Early settlement fee = £140.14

Interest, charges, withdrawals, loan repayments: = £13,222.68

This is how it is on the statement, it was settled in full Nov 2004.
Tiggraes calculation here so not sure but this is for MISSELLING here and not unfair rebate

    2903.88 total PPI
    34.57 PPI repayments.
    34.57 x 10 = 345.70 Total PPI paid during time of 10 months
2903.88 - 345.70 - 1658.23 (if this was the actual rebate against the PPi and looks like it was) = 899.95

899.95 + repayments made 345.70 = £1245.65 so this is the amount you were actually charged for the PPI plus you need to add on the statutory interest..

    Wow thanks hun.;)

Didn't I add the same monthly repayment twice for both the loan and the ppi ? lol:o

    Okay loan repayment a month for £10K = £154.23
    PPI for £2,241.37 = £34.57
    Total monthly = £188.80.

Optional payment protection - regenerated crossed as yes
Premium advanced as part of loan was also regenerated crossed as yes.

    Price of PPi = £2,241.37
    Interest on protection = £662.42
Total price of protection = £2,903.79

I did not miss any details out on this then did I ? lol

So if successful they should put it back as if I did not take the ppi in the first place.
