Fast tracking does not work for all. I know the reason why they have let me know about my firstplus one was because I have emailed and rang lots and the last time I rang i said that this would become time barred and I wanted to use the courts if they could not help. They then got back to me but I requested the fast track first week of august but did not meet the needs I suppose but I think its wrong when your home is at risk. If we cannot pay the mortgage then we get repossessed and it should not just go on benefits coming into the house etc. We all have our own different needs as to why these should be fast tracked.

I am so glad for you getting another before an adjudicator. I bet they passed yours between the lot of them and each one passed it on after the last one you had with them. No-one wanting to be the one to take it on:eek: .

Tee Hee:rotfl:I think it is wrong that they base who gets fast tracked on benefits cause lots of us own houses and have work but are in financial difficulty. This can be absolutely devastating cause you loose perhaps house job etc etc. Some people, and I am not saying all, who are on benefits are better off than those working etc.

    Early repayment

You have the right to settle this Agreement early by paying to us any unpaid reasonable costs, charges and expenses debited to your account and the balance of the Total Indebtness (which include, for this purpose, future interest calculated at the rate applicable at the date of the settlement quotation which would be payable under this Agreement if this agreement were to continue unaltered and without being settled early, until all sums owed under this Agreement are paid to us) less upon payment in full, a rebate (if any) calculated in accordance with the consumer credit (rebate on early settlement) Regulations 1983 as amended or re-enacted from time to time.
We will provide a settlement statement upon written request being made to you.

Without prejudice to your right to repay your loan early, you may be allowed to repay PART only of the loan other than by the monthly instalments set out overleaf (or by new monthly instalments notified to you by us under the terms of the loan condition 3) upon such terms as to settlement interest that we may specify.

I said that to Di the other day. If we did not have the large mortgage to pay and it was paid for by either the insurance that we have or the state (LOL yeah sure!!!) then we would not have to live like we do now in that its another layer on in the house if we get cold and a night out is just impossible. Even going to the shops I think of the bus fare etc... We manage but have to cut our cloth as the saying goes. There are far worse off than us and I don't usually complain about things like that as I have had had tougher times when I was alone til my son was 10... but I never had credit then and it was a case of "haven't got the money" "don't have the things".

Get ringing the FOS about your other claims now maxdp. Give them a nudge again...

Di, that is the agreement. Its nothing to do with the agreement at all.

Its the terms of the actual policy.

FOS know we have been stung and I now think that they are trying to help us here. He said that he would write to the insurers and ask them for a final respone then they would look into the complaint for us.

I know your policy was NOT front loaded at all.

I think what they do hun is share these complaints out into piles for each of the adjudicators and then maybe that one that has now been assigned to an adjudicator was the quickest pile if you know what I mean ? lol...:D

Good luck with the other lot too hun.;)

Yet this info is added in a separate sheet to the agreement and has the heading of Terms & conditions above.

I have not even found anything to do with termination of the loan and do now have anything else, all this was amonst the SAR, all the other stuff is underwriters work of workings out.

So why does it state terms and conditions in big writing above ??

    Hi

Just wanted to let you all know have sent online complaint to Finance and Leasing association.

Also complaint sent to director at Freedom Finance.
Letter sent to FSA, competition commission, OFT. Regardin the human rights act (worth a try) "right to receive a fair trial"

Letter sent to firstplus asking how they calculated their settlement figure also where was the information for the calculation taken from and was it firstplus who calculates the figure or another company.

Worth a try but will let yous know the outcome.
