slate fell off mine or neighbours roof

I found a slate in my yard right next to the adjoining wall of my neighbour's, you can tell its fallen as it has scraped the concrete floor. Trouble is I know no-body with long long ladders and I have walked back away from my house and I can't see the roof properly to see who's roof it came off. No leaks yet?
Anyone know anybody reasonable in bury who will take a look??

Awww, its a shame my fella is in hospital or I'd bob him along to have a nosey for you so you don't have to fork out for it

The only other guy I know can't get up ladders since his crash.
When my OH phones later I'll ask him if he can think of anyone.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -

Thankyou very much - that would be fantastic, its so hard to find an honest roofer these days. My concrete floor in my yard slopes so something would have to go behind to support the ladders.:rotfl:Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -
Ok, just spoke to him, he reccomends a builders called Armstrongs he has worked with them and knows their work is very good he isn't sure how much they charge though, they are busy at the moment though, make sure you ask them upfront how much they want for looking at it though before you get them to come out and phone a few others out of the yellow pages to check their quote. Normally a lot of roofers do free callouts though.
The guy is called Ian
