Hi,
I'm in the same boat, but I just need to purchase a cheap geared bike to practice for my test on. Any ideas anyone?

Surely you do not feedback to buy on e-bay - just bid?
Alternatively - do it the old way, look in a local paper.
Get out there and enjoy biking - and if you really want to bike - join us in Chicago next year to ride Route 66 to Los Angeles.

Go to http://www.autotrader.co.uk/BIKES/bikes.jsp enter your postcode and requirements, it will find all the bikes available within a given radius0

Hi catford,
I hope that you don't mind but I'm going to move this thread over to the motoring board to see if you will get any more replies over there.

Have a word with Nick at https://www.forcemotorcycles.com his machines are from Police/MOD/Forces, so well maintained & he knows his stuff!
Not sure if he's into budget price range, but might point you in the right direction.
