Credit Crunch might be a good thing?

With lots of banks running scared and "credit card" companies doing the same wont this have a positive effect on people who are already in lots of cc debt and who keep opening other cards and spending they will no longer be able to do this and finally wake up to the fact to have the latest TV ,games consol, mobile phone IS NOT THAT IMPORTANT!

So to the people who are "not good with money" the credit crunch will help them finally see the light?

Of course lots of peolpe will rightly say "I use my credit card and pay it off every month and get this cash back that cash back etc" Good luck to you, you take the moral high ground and belittle the people who should have been stopped at source. Its quite remarkable the ammount of people who have a "kick a man while hes down" outlook on life shame on you !

Its likened to drug dealing the dealers will always find the addicts and less well off. Then mounting pressure by society/media/and the rest try to make decend people feel inferiour and use "need that TV" type mentality.

It makes me sick and Im pleased the credit crunch has happened it will save more than you think.

No, they are only human and fallible.

If we take your reasoning further, these people will end up bankrupt [and living off welfare - a bigger drain on the state] or will go to loan shark type companies with exorbitant interest rates.

They will have more stress related illnesses [ditto drain on NHS]. They won't be paying taxes [less revenue for the general pot].

If they can't pay, they can't buy, so more businesses lay staff off or worse go down the pan, the whole economy goes t**s up!
