Sky BB Email Switching

 Can anyone help me? We swapped over to Sky BB today from BT and it went okay. But we want to move our email contacts and emails from AOL and I have tried to utilise the email switching thing on Sky. I have input my old AOL email address and password but 3/4 hr later the email switcher is still chuggung away. I don't have 100s of contacts or saved emails so can anyone tell me what Is going on? Is this normal? I can't find any way of exporting contacts from AOL wholesale either. Any ideas gladly received!

And don't use Sky's email address as your main one, otherwise you're just going to run into the exact same problems again when you move away from them. Think about long term non-ISP email.

I'm not sure what non-ISP email means....would you tell me which others I should look at (non-techie person here, sorry)?

I just mean an email address that isn't supplied (and hence can be taken away) by your ISP (internet service provider). Robt's suggestion is an excellent one.
