Which CRA's do credit cards comapnies use?

I've seen a sticky thread somewhere regarding this, with a table of which company uses which agency, but found it to be inaccurate. Two cards I have didn't tally with the given info at all!
I ask because I had a credit card stolen a year ago. It had a zero balance, and was run up close to it's limit. The company have now eventually accepted the card was stolen and the balance has been cleared. However, they have listed several late payments against my credit file, due to not making payments against the original fraudlent transactions.
I've tried getting these removed by writing to both the CRA involved and the card issuer, but without success. I have now sent a complaint to the Registry Trust and hope they can sort it!
I'd like to apply for either a Halifax or Amex card, but before I do would like to know for certain which CRA they use. It wouldn't help to have more searches and be declined because the wrong CRA was involved.
Thanks for any help!

Both Halifax and Amex use Experian for sure.
Also when I've applied for Amex in the past they have used both Experian AND Equifax.
The vast majority of card issuers use Experian but I have read elsewhere on this forum that Barclaycard only use Equifax, I couldn't say for sure though.
