You could see if you could buy them with travelex and pick them up at the airport, use your debit card if you do.

Don't panic... You may as well just withdraw them with the debit card when you arrive at your destination's airport.
If you haven't a Nationwide debit card there will be little difference in the rate you will get here and abroad.
    So, don't worry about it.

Well that really is lack of planning!

There will probably be somewhere at the airport that you can get Euros and I guess you will have to hope it will be open on a bank holiday monday, and of course you will just have to take the rate they offer.

Yes you will be charged if you use your card abroad, but rather than use it to pay in various places I think you would be better off drawing a larger sum of money from a cash machine. Am I right in thinking there is a one off charge regardless of the amount withdrawn?

I am sure someone will have more info for you.

Marks & Spencers now have a Bureau De Change in most of its stores. Shops open Sundays & Bank Holidays. Else try travel agents.

    Have a nice holiday :)
