Seeing as you've done so well with the monies I wont slap you this time . Brilliant news :beer: am really chuffed for you. Does a girl good to have a bit of pampering now & then especially when going back to work & as you didnt put it on your card ther's no hidden costs.

Mum2one - what a fab idea!! I must admit i tend to do what i know and there is a corporate spa by my work which i am used to and probably pay corporate prices! I will definately look into it... my friends sister is doing a hairdressing course at a nearby college i think i should give her a call as shes bound to know :j all is not lost in the facial dept!! Lula, lula what can i say i am positively a lightweight loser arent i?? If you want a laugh, i am selling my nicotine gum on ebay, so positive was i it was all kicked :rotfl:. Anyway it has to stop again my b/f will be coming to see me in ten days it must go cos he hates it!

Wendy i must admit since starting this thread i have had good luck shining on my finances (if only it happened on the smoking)!! And its all happening so fast! I dont regret buying any off the clothes they werent impulse buys and i know i will wear them and wont get bored of them. I started off buying cheaper clothes today but my heart wasnt in it as i knew i wudnt feel as good and they wudnt last as long so i thought sod it im gonna spent a little bit more and get a few decent pieces to last, so thats what i did :rotfl: (and doubled the budget :rotfl: )

Actually bit more of an update.... I have just sold an item on ebay that i put 7 quid as a starting price for 25 pound to someone who asked me to end the auction early cos she really wanted it so i upped the price a bit and shes gone for it and its ll paid in paypal now so i have 35 pound in there and 5.00 of goods bid on but not ended yet :j

I am so chuffed!! I remember reading a thread on here saying if you have 7k of debt thats 7000 items to sell for a pound on ebay - so i have jumped that figure quite a lot!!

Rite i was gonna ask you lovely peops for help with my home phone

My bt contracts up for renewal end of may so i spoke to talk talk and they can do the 16.39 offer when 10.50 is to keep the bt line which talk talk will rent for me... and the rest is evening calls and weekends offer with free broadband... is there any reason why i cant take this out and then get sky/virgin installed on top of this for the tv - i think this may work out cheaper?

By my thinking sky do 3 (tv phone broadband) for 30, 2 for 20 and 1 for 15 - cant remember where i heard this. So is this possible and although the cost is the same roughly by mixing the two suppliers as with 3 for 30 with one supplier? Do you think this is logical? The reason i say this is that i will take on talk talk in my name so will save 15 a month compared to what i pay now but my bf wants sky here for when hes on leave which i said he can pay as i wont watch it when hes not here :rotfl: (gullible my fella). Then if we split up he cancels the sky but doesnt disrupt my broandband/phone (We havent been together too long so i have to think of worst case!!!!!):rotfl:

You know what the mad thing is - if you go in Wilkos its about 3.50 for the proper stuff from nicorette but it sells on ebay for about 4.00. I went through my house looking for stuff to sell and stopped short of selling the baby lol - but i bet he could clear my debt completely!!! Hm maybe not :rolleyes:

I really havent smoked since last wed, honest. Not finding it too bad but do keep having peanut butter sandwiches so will prob have to go shopping for new jeans in a bigger size soon :eek: - any excuse, do you think my feet will get bigger too so can have new boots as well .

Know what you mean about selling baby, I keep eyeing up my daughter & thinking, she's house trained, can read & write, think its about time she got an after school job, she's 8 for goodness sake .

I spent most of yesterday clearing out her room in the hope of finding stuff to sell but she insists that she 'needs' all her toys, books, games etc. & frankly I dont rate my chances in finding a buyer for the 3 grapes, empty smarties tubes & black banana i found under the bed.

When I'd finished she said " right, lets do your room now & see what you dont need anymore". You can guess how quick I backed off !
