    Sorry to sound like your Mum, but the kind of girls who would be impressed by your credit card are the kind you don't want to impress!

    Just offering this advice makes me feel old :P

    When i turned 18 I decided to get a credit card because i buy online so much and some places do not accept crappy Visa Electron. I applied for an Alliance and Leicester credit card as they are the bank I use but no joy!

    My next attempt was Capital One, I applied online and was told I had been accepted!

    I now have a capital one credit card with a £2500 credit limit on it!

    Best that! :P
