What type of a computer was that? Nobody pays that much for a computer (not even a new-one). And certainly not on eBay.
It must be a very special computer indeed.
exactly! I just had a high tech computer built for me which cost me £400 with a 12 month warranty. . I don't want to sound like "I told you so" but I had a bad experience with Ebay and I would never buy or sell anything with them again and have closed my account.0 -
At the end of the day it doesnt matter if i spent £1500 or £1500000. Its done and dusted now and thats that. We all learn by our own mistakes and we have to live by them. If i could turn the clock back i would. So stop going on that i am some sort of retard. I have learned a important thing from this!!!Don`t by large items from ebay.0

Any consumer issues is also worth a call to this free government service:

They are excellent in outlining your legal position and what action you can take.
With their help i successfully won a small claims court action :T0 -
So it's not only that the computer was faulty, the gaming bundle as well as twin graphic cards were faulty,A top of the range gaming bundle with top of the range components inc. sli twin graphics cards etc. etc.
not forgetting the etc. etc.
All these items were so faulty they had to be thrown away without a trace. Not one of them could have been put to good use.
Oh dear....oh dear....oh dear.0 -
I can hear a small bit of sarcasm in you post. At the end of the day YES all the components were faulty. Beleive it or not!!!I don`t really care what YOU think. My Conscious is clean...Is yours!!!0

I suppose in hindsight once he became obstructive, it would have been an idea to tell him in writing that he had 14 days to make arrangments to collect the goods (at his expense as they were faulty), after which you would charge £5 per week storage. If the goods remained uncollected after (specific date - say around 90 days in total) you would dispose of them for a charge of £30. At that point, you could have invoiced him the total charges and taken him through the small claims process if he had refused to pay.
It's a shame you had to encounter one of these nightmare sellers on ebay. There are many similar horror stories on the ebay forums. I hate it when sellers shirk responsibility as it gives everyone a bad name.
Don't let others who judge you by there own morals put you off. There are many supportive people on the fourms.0
