Which savings accounts accept Power of Attorney?

    Out of interest, was it complicated and expensive because you didn't have EPA before the dementia started to impair?

    Yes, that's why. My Mum was a bit of an awkward character before she became so ill that she no longer had agency (as they call it), and would not hear of it.

    Going back to the OP.
    The paperwork came through yesterday from Saga (Birmingham Midshires) for their curent 6.71% Fixed rate savings account for my Mum and I noticed that they specifically have a section on the application form for "if you are opening this account under a power of attorney etc etc" so they obviously accept PofA accounts easily enough.
