    Hi

if you have been paying PPI and it does not pay out because of the type of wrk you are doing, it is likely to be mis-sold and then you should reclaim it.

Interesting, thanks for that. I shall dig out the appropriate paperwork and ring them up.

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi Jo_R,
Being a mum is brave, and sometimes thankless. I am a single mother of teenagers, but it was only yesterday I was the single mother of two little ones like yours. I too was and am very self-sufficient, but there have been times where I've had to put my hands in the air and call for help. And help has always come. I now wonder if I should have asked more often. You and your children all deserve it.
I often donate money to a charity called the Family Welfare Association, https://www.fwa.org.uk. They help families, and may only be able to assist on a single issue or only a little bit, but every little bit counts. They may be a good source of advice too.
I hope you're back at work soon. I can't offer much help with depression, only to say that children are your rock and the light at the end of dark tunnels.
    God bless.
    Sally Jo.

No, I have a meeting tomorrow at the Job Centre about JSA. When I phoned up they said I was eligible, and I just assumed JSA would be the one I would need as I had originally simply been looking for another job. Now I am considering staying at home to sort my head out until I am in a better place to handle work, but I'm not sure... I will be asking about IS tomorrow to see if it would be a better option.

Lone parents can opt whether to go on JSA or IS.
