Living in Spain I have bought a new HP Laptop with vista. I have set it up for English but found half of it is still in Spanish. As I have a copy of Vista Ultimate in English (which I won thanks to this forum) is it easy to wipe of the Spanish version and install the English if so, how do I do this.
As you can tell I know nothing about computers.
Also if I do this will it affect the guarantee.
Thanks in advance

You will want to make sure that any documents that you have are backed up onto usb stick or dvd first. Then just put in the Vista disk, boot up to DVD and follow the prompts. you can either wipe the disk (format) and start from scratch or just install on the current format which will rename your old installation to windows.old
It is easy to do. Good luck0 -
Many thanks for the quick reply
