in my area staff have said that the store no longer gives away the food because of legal problem arising from possible 'food poisoning' law suits. Not sure thats 100% correct.
Some people still come in and get the food for free, but eventually security catch them and phone the police!!

afaik m&s stipulate bout storage conditions of food that is donated to us, and do spot checks periodically to confirm this, thus preventing any potential food poisoning or law suits...hth

They're also generous with vouchers, I had a sheet of serveral £4 and £5 off a £20 shop vouchers earlier in the year.

This is based on your spend over the voucher period. A good cashback credit card can do just as well if not significantly better with the added flexibility of being able to spend the money wherever you choose.
:o Keep trying.........................what else is there to do? :o

I think you're confusing this with the vouchers you get from using their &more credit card. The vouchers that were being refered to were "Spend and Save" vouchers available to pick up instore.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Got a good shop from M& S Milton Keynes yesterday. It was around 3.30pm and lots of staff busy marking down.

Got a nice chicken from £5 down to £3.
Steak and onion baguettes £2.49 down to £1.50
Boxes of French Fries down to 50p

They had lots of coleslaws down to a £1.

The vouchers were being given to everyone, these ones weren't linked to any cards. Mum picked up several sheets to give to different people.

Does anyone know if the M&S magazine ever includes vouchers, or any other good places to find them? I have been looking around for them as I do see people with loads of vouchers at the till, but maybe it's because they use the &more card?
