Change of Calling Line Identification (CLI)

Hi everyone. Is anyone aware of a way to change your CLI and send a number other than your normal one as a caller to the other party. I recently got an 0845 number from Sipgate and want it to be sent as my called ID instead of my BT number but don't know whether this is possible through my phone line. I also looked into the setting of my Orchid dialler and couldn't find an answer on whether it is possible to change my outgoing CLI. :p
Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????

Yes it is possible, but you need to pay BT a fee each month for the privilege.

Strange that you wanted an 0845 number, unless this was a way of putting people off calling you, as the cost of calling an 0845 number is higher than the cost of calling an 01 or 02 number.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!
