Hi,
Does anyone know where I can find printed catalogues for the multi-function home printer ranges offered by Canon, Epson, Dell, HP, Lexmark, Brother and Kodak?
I've been charged with finding a printer for someone else and, whilst I search on-line, it would help if I could discuss the models I've found by directing the person to the catalogues.
I'm veering towards Canon or Epson.
P.C. World and Curry's Digital weren't any help, for obvious reasons.
There are scores of retailers (public and business) and I don't want to have to visit all of them.
Thanks.

Most vendors produce PDF versions of spec sheets these days, I used to sell all those printers going back a few years and they never had one brochure with everything in.
Have look on their websites or on the website of one of their resellers and just download the one's you are interested in, you don't even need to print them just read online.0 -
Hi,
The person for whom I'm locating this printer is a complete novice and wants to sit down with the catalogues and a cuppa and familiarise himself with all of the jargon - before he parts with any money.
I don't have the time to sit him in front of the P.C. and take him through everything I've found.
I've checked the websites for the above manufacturers and the only ones that provide PDFs are Lexmark and Dell, but I've ruled out Lexmark as a choice due to the high ink costs.0 -
Go for Canon, Epson or HP. Avoid all the others. Check out the ink replacement costs of any model that you might be considering. E.g. www.choicestationery.co.uk. You may find that HP then becomes more expensive.0

Brother is good, B/W laser is far cheaper to run. As you know one printer does not fit all requirements, you might need A3 (or more) capacity, photo quality images to long print runs for charity work... Brother have good tec support on the phone too.0
