Anyone have Wharfedale lcd1510 tv manual???

I am trying to tune in my Wharfedale tv through the aerial, but I can't get the tuner to pick up any channels at all.

The aerial etc is all fine, as it works on another tv, so I must be doing something wrong.

I can't find the user manual......and have searched online for it without success.

Anyone help???

Thanks

  • Digital or terrestial, there is a difference, and you may not get one or the other!

Try your local friendly electrical retailer, they often have the odd old
instruction manual laying around. Alternatively try emailing Wharfedale
themselves, gotta be worth a try.

    Thanks, both.

It is my normal terrestrial aerial. I was looking at hooking up Sky in another room, and because I was not able to get a picture(well managed to get a very grainy black and white pic), I thought I would test the cable to see if that was faulty. Absolutely nothing detected through the aerial, yet it works perfectly well on another tv.

Our tv with Sky is the same make of tv (Wharfedale). I tried to use the standard terrestrial aerial on that tv with the same problem. Thats why i think there nust be something I am not doing right.....but not a clue what it is!

I will try and phone the Argos Wharfedale helpline and see what they say.

    Thanks!

I have tried contacting Argos, and they can't help without a receipt. I can't even remember when i bought the tvs!! The receipt is with the manuals, but I haven't a clue where that may be!!

they said if I have those details, they can send an engineer out.......but BOTH tvs won't tune in to the aerial, so surely it is something I am doing wrong as opposed to needing an engineer??

    Anyone got any ideas????

    thanks

Just a quick update. Thought I would list the details in case anyone has the same problem in future.

On another forum, I found a persons email address at wharfedale. She replied to my email within an hour, and told me to contact Seahunt 0870 160 1490. I phoned them, and within a minute, they had taken my address and will send me a manual!!

    What fantastic service!:T :T :T
