I'm just wondering what the best account with a debit or cashcard would be.
I'm looking for an easy to access account but with a decent interest rate for when i need to withdraw for my car or for an emergancy.
Thank you

Quite high then, would you be able to withdraw from a barlcays cash machine or would it have to be a universal or link machine?
I'm asking because were i live there is only in-branch cash machines. Thank you.8,000 / 10,000 saved. Another 2,000 by April 2011!0 -
£250 / day according to that link0

It is £250 a day and you can use any LINK cash machine.0

Abbey Esaver direct pays 6.5%, and can use any Link cash machine. You get less interest when you make a withdrawal, but if it's only going to be used for emergencies (1-2 withdrawals a year) then the rate would still average around 6%.0

the abbey esaver direct includes 0.75% bonus for a year - if you withdraw in any month you will get 2.75% gross for that month on the whole balance - the interest is paid annuallyKeep the Faith:cool:0

Abbey looks like a winner then, i read the Anglo-Irish bank but it doesn't say if it has a cash card. So i'm guessing it doesn't.
