Excess baggage to New Zealand

Hi,
I am moving to New Zealand in the summer and I am only allowed 20Kg baggage with me on the flight. I need to get my snowboard, bike and some clothes sent across as these will not fit into my baggage allowance. I was wondering if anyone has any experience of shipping items like these abroad and knows of any cheap companies to use?

I'm moving to Florida in August and have also some extra stuff to take with me.
I know for a fact that shipping by sea can be way cheaper because they charge you by volume rather than weight. So as long as you have a reasonable small container, no matter how much stuff you put it in (heavy stuff you wouldn't take on a plane) it will be considerably cheaper.
This is the option I'm going with, but, does anyone know of any good reputable companies that do sea shipping for a good price?0 -

You obviously do not fly much, the allowance however many stops is still 20KGS !0 -

So if OP books (for example) Air NZ flying via LA they'll get 2x23kg rather than the 1x23kg flying via Hong Kong

Actually, he is right. If you fly using certain airlines your baggage limit is increased to 2 pieces, of 20 - 23kgs each. Still this doesn't help a lot if you're moving abroad, believe me.
Any other suggestions of sea shipping companies?0
