Hi folks,
I am filling in the ib50 form for incapacity beneift (renewal) and there is a quesiton of "fits or something like this"
it states "we need to know if you have fits or something like this while you are awake, this includes epileptic seizures or a similar loss or change of consiousness, but does not include
1 fits while you are alseep
2 dizzy spells
3 vertigo
4 giddiness
5 simple faints"
Now I suffer badly from panic attacks and social phobia and in my opinion it can cause a change of conciousness with symptoms of feeling confussed, unreality, sweating and trembling etc.
I wonder if If what I suffer from fulfills the criteria for the above question?
just want your opinions
many thanks
jay

I am not a medical professional, but I would say that what you are describing would come under dizzy spells/ giddiness.
If you had had a fit, you would know the difference xGone ... or have I?0 -
No I dont think this comes under that section either as it is not a fit. What you are talking about would relate to the mental health section of the IB50.0
