I used Abode who appointed Beaumont Legal and I have to say they we're immaculate can't fault them. Could call solicitor when ever I wanted, replied to emails whith a few hours and got paper work out on a daily basis rather then siting on it.

I appointed Abode and they in turn gave me Beaumont Legal. What a shower! Has been about 6 weeks now and still haven't got past signing the contract. The contract quoted a fee different to waht Abode did. Was a small difference but it's the principle and you don't want any other fees creeping in so best to get it in black and white at the start. Queried this and something else via email to the appointed conveyancer. According to Abode's own statement, you need to leave a period of time (it may have been 48hrs) to expect a reply. Well, I never got one. Then I read the paperwork again and it said to put any queries relating to the contract in writing to some fella, which I did. It has been a month since that and still not heard. 'Luckily' my house still on the market so not affecting legal process. Contacted Abode to ask for another solicitor. Said they would chase it up. Still not heard. Sent another email today and now email bounced back as invalid email address.

I tell you, I'm just getting my money back that i paid on account which seems to be some referral fee. I'm not paying that as they have done nothing for me. I've paid for my HIp with them. Will get legal services elsewhere.
