Thats when someone hit me in my car, So best get onto my insurance company HHH.
The nightmare begins.
After some 8weeks of hearing nowt I phoned HHH and said had they heard anything from the other party, as I had sent a diagram and description 2-3 days after the prang, so did they have an update they said no, ok I thought it maybe early days.
4 weeks on and I was getting a bit miffed as I hadnt recieved one single phonecall just to say, Hello Sir no progress but we are looking into it.
So I phoned HHH and said, If I wanted to change insurance companies is that possible and would I incur any extra fees, Reply "You can go to any insurance company as you have paid up to and beyond the date of the accident", fair enough so I went with a different insurer.
1 week later I recieved a letter from HHH asking me for £144.00 to cover the rest of the policy year, So I phoned them and said hang a mo a company rep said I could change insurer, They said that was bad advice I was given, so I sent a letter asking for an investigation to this !!!! up, and I also paid the money or the accident would not be upheld as it is a claim in progress.
I also enquired If I get the claim go my way will I get the damage for my tyre back £58.00, my £100.00 excess and the £144.00 premium I had to pay for there misleading advice and they said yes, and sent me a letter to confirm this.
Well the claim is now the dreaded 50/50 option so I said will I get half of my money back for my Tyre, Excess and premium, yes yes and no, I wont get half of my premium.
Mmmm Im quite pi**ed off about that, So I went into Bristol City Centre to do some shopping and whilst there I paid a visit to HHH now Capita Insurance based at The Pithay in Bristol, and asked to see someone I knew this was doubtful as I was pretty sure that it was just a call centre.
The security guard at the front desk spoke to someone and said to me no-one will come down and see me, fair enough I thought and just about to leave when a Big Fat Cow who smelled of B.O tried to help me, well she didnt all she said was, ere mate you wont see that money back as we are now trading as a different company, then laughed in my face, so I said excuse me then who do I see above you as I want someone to take this seriously, The Big Fat Cow said, no one mate im in charge ere, the laughed in my face again.
The upshot of this is I have contacted the Insurance Ombudsman and they are looking in to this.
And after putting up posters asking for a witness to the accident, I have just recieved a phonecall from a chap who recalls the day and me and my car.
Im am so happy that I kept on trying to get the correct outcome.
Ha Ha Ha to HHH and the Fat Cow.
