If you start here:

And drill down to the point where you've chosen a town, there's a section underneath that map, to the left, that says 'what's it like to live in .....' and beneath that 'council tax bands'
Bands are based on the property not area, but the price of each band is dependant on the area.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I would have guessed Band B for most flats really, but here you are:

Saving for a deposit (ie months rent) and for furnishings. Plans might all be changing though! Got to think whether I can realistically afford it with £371 going out to my loan! :undecided0
