Both my son and I are with First Direct. whilst I'm (generally) a good boy and wonder into overdraft only when unexpected bills come in, my son is a nightmare! consequently he frequently gets these @we're gonna charge you £25 to have an overdraft facility' whereas they don't with me and I have a free £500 limit.

I challenged FD over my son's charges and they backed down and not only refunded the £25 they had charged but also about £300 worth of excess overdraft fees they had charged in past months.

Challenger everything, if you don't as, you don't get!
