Right now devouring a lef of chicken in an attempt to reduce my stress levels! I have a dilemma on my hands, exams start on the 28th and dissertation is due in on 6th may!!!! I've hardly done any revision because of I'm trying to complete my dissertation and fear the worse. I'm thinking of deferring my dissertation till september and initiate solid revision from now till the exams commence. After exams i can continue with my dissertation and hand it in ASAP! What should i do..........?

Will you be allowed to defer your dissertation without good reason?
You have got two weeks until exams start. Plenty of time to revise and finish your dissertation ... just don't plan anything else for the next few weeks!Gone ... or have I?0 -
Have you spoken with your supervisor, or personal tutor about this?
At my uni, students can get an extension until August, but they need to provide evidence of a valid reason - medical certificate/letter from counsellor/death certs etc.
Have you had extenuating circumstances? I'm not sure how successful you'll be if you haven't.0 -
Try and fit some revision in around your dissertation, as a change of topic could do you good. Once it's handed in, you still have plenty of time to revise.
I had to do a dissertation (due a couple of weeks before exams started), as well as a 2 week work placement with a local company (leaving 7.30am, and not back until 6pm for 5 days a week, finishing a week before exams), AND revision on top of that.
Just eat, sleep and work, and go for a run or something if you hit a blank! It's only for a few weeks, and is part of the process of doing a degree - shows companies you can work and do well under pressure.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
