Free Eye Tests when on Benefits?

HI
Can anyone tell me if we are entitled to free eye tests whilst on JSA - Contribution based and Income based?

Thanks
Lisa

So as our benefits are made up of both, I guess the answer is yes?

Yes you can be on both, the first £50 odd will be JSA C and then topped up for whatever reason with JSA IB, this could be in case of claiming for two adults, if you're in receipt of JSA income based then yes you'll get free eye tests (only one a year unless optician recommends more i think)

I think its once every two years - unless when you have the test they find you need new specs (thats what happend to me).

Not sure where you are but of you are in Scotland then eye tests at any optician are free regardless of your employment status :)

What about the HC2 form if you are on contribution based benefits?
Green and minimal chemicals is the new black- I know a fair old bit about sustainability, specially energy and transport stuff. If I can help- please ask!
