Don't you hate the unpredictable nature of Argos!
The other week I went in and purchased a Canon digital camera. No problems, by the time I had walked over from payment to collection it was there for me.
Today I purchased a R320 printer (A much bigger box I may add!) and was waiting for at least 15 minutes! And some of the staff were just stood there talking about social activities! Grr...
Begs the question why put in these 'all new' "Order xxx, your item is ready for collection" if it dosen't really make things any faster than before? :S

They will do, they have to wait for your order to be processed and picked by the storeroom staff and then take it to the collection point before you can get it.
All depends how busy it is in the storeroom0 -

Also, it depends on the location in the storeroom. If you order something that is stored at the far end, it will take longer for them to get there and pick it. This info was given to me by a member of staff when I was served instantly some time ago and a man complained that he had been waiting ages.
I too have had to go to customer services for a refund in the past for items that did not come up quickly enough.0 -
in my local store they have tv's on display near to the customer waiting area (which is usually a bit crowded anyway), and they are always switched on, so i just stand around and watch tv for a bit.
its never more than 5-10 minutes for me (i guess i have just been lucky- its not a superstore though, so the waiting times are usually shorter).things arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back thenMercilessKiller wrote: »BH is my best mate too, its ok
