Newbie here.
I have been accepted to study part time at uni, but I do not know what help i can get with finance. I am 21 years old and have been out of work for about 5 months, have been looking and applying but no luck so far. So what can I do?
Thank You

if your on benefits, you may be able to get the LEA to wavie your fees, get in touch with them and ask. Also speak to uni, they have a fianancial office there to help with this sort of thing.
i get my fees wavied & get £250 book/petrol allowance.

Hi
I too am a part time student, although as a mature student my situations slightly different to yours.
I feel certain that your University will have a website, which should have a section on student finances, so I'd have a look at that, they will also most likely have an email addrss for the student finance centre where you can contact them and ask for assistance.
Also, contact your local council to see what help you can help. If your not sure which department to ask, the student finance centre at your Uni should be able to tell you.
Good luck with it and with your course. I can tell you it was the best thing I ever did, I love it!
