dvi to hdmi cable?

i currently have my pc connected to my hd tele via vga cable. if i connect my pc with dvi to hdmi cable would the picture quality increase. i usually watch divx and mkv movies through my pc on my lcd tele.

    If your tv is 1080p you should notice a difference with the hdmi cable but it won't be a massive change, the picture should be a bit clearer with better contrast and colours.

    With the price of cables I would say it's worth changing but don't spend a lot of money on the cable as the cheaper ones are just as good.
