Does IB permitted work affect assessments?

Hi there
I've been on IB for 3 years or so as I suffer from M.E. I haven't worked since 2003. I'm thinking about looking for a small amount of paid work as I've read that while on Incapacity Benefit I can earn £20 a week for an unlimited period. I'm just a bit worried that if I did get something that involved physical work that when it comes to my entitlement being re-assessed, they may take this into account (officially or unofficially) when deciding if I am entitiled to stay on it. I probably wouldn't be looking to increase hours if I do get something as I don't think I could manage more. I wondered if anyone had been in my situation or knows a little more about this than me.
Thanks

As you say you are entitled to do this work if you want to.
The thing to consider is that it should not make a difference at your next assesment but it COULD,I have heard people say that they think it has, only you can decide if it is worth doing it.Good luck
There are two sides to every story.
