Share certificate/transfer

Options
Hi all,

I need to transfer the shares of the new company (owned by a friend and I) to another company (small ltd company we have run for a few years - sthg to do with consideration/goodwill).

I have managed to get a Stock Transfer form, but not sure about how to get a Share Certificate. I can download these at a cost, but am wondering if there is anywhere to get them for free? Accountant can't help as it's not his area apparently.

Thanks
Rajiv

Can I ask what you need a share certificate for? Is it for the bank? As you mostly don;t need a share certificate for anything as it'll show the transfer on companies house website.

I actually need the share certificate for the Stock Transfer form, as they need to be presented together for the transfer to work.

From what I can tell (in general as a Ltd co), I need:

    Register of Members (shareholders)
    Register of Directors and Secretaries
Register of Directors interests - ????
Minutes of Directors and General Meetings
Share Certificates - got this one finally!

Surprisingly can find very little information on the formats etc of the above. Any moneysavers know a place where we can download examples of the above??

    Thanks

    Hiya,

Thanks again for the reply. Unfortunately, the forms I am looking for do not appear to be on their website. (note 353 - location of register of members is not 352!) =)

Phoning them hasn't seemed to help as well... could you be more specific as to where on their site I can get these forms?

    Thanks
    Rajiv
