Yahoo mail via Windows mail problems

Can anyone please help, everything was running fine till wednesday last week and when i went to download mail into windows mail i get an error, though nothing of it and transfered to my new pc but still got the error so contacted yahoo live chat and followed there instruction and i was to add plus to pop.mail part which i did and all worked fine for 20 mins then the same error popped up and no mail -

An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server: 'plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x80004005

Left it over the weekend as i thought maybe yahoo having problems and i could access the mail via webmail and contacted them again this morning, deleted all the settings and then changed one of the ports at there request and again all back up and running but again only for 20 mins so back in line just now for help after i deleted the settings again but still no joy:mad:

Does anyone know what the problem could be? as ive tried everything inc turning the firewall off, re booting and just dont know what to try next
Is there maybe a microsoft update which doesnt like yahoo? Im running vista premium at the moment if that helps?

Ive had problems with using windows mail on my laptop for my mums email account, but i use Outlook 2007 on the same laptop and all my emails pull down fine. I think there is an issue with yahoo and Windows Mail cos my girlfriend is having a problem with it as well :doh:

So its not just me then, thank you. Im chatting at the moment so will post back on any solutions;)

Update they have again sorted it, not sure how long for and say it is a problem there end and it isnt malicious but he sorted it out without me changing any settings but wouldnt say what the problem was.
