Parking Ticket Clarification

Was parked on yellow lines earlier (yeah I know :rolleyes: ) for only a matter of minutes while at cashpoint. Anyways, I turn around and traffic warden is at my car!

Sprint back to it and jump in. Now his fingers were going like the clappers while I'm trying to get the key in the ignition. :rotfl:

Upshot of it was, I drove off before he had the chance to print and issue me the ticket. Did I get away with it or can I expect it in the post? :think:

The law has just changed in the last couple of weeks,they can send a ticket through the post instead of sticking it on the car,must save them being abused.

I hope you get away with it but be prepared to pay.i got one in a pay and display the other week,my ticket was the wrong way round,i wrote in and they cancelled it!!

Go back and take photographs of the lines where you parked, and also both ends of the lines (they should be barred) to see if they're legal.

I'm pretty sure they are and to be honest I've got no-one else to blame but myself if it does come through but just hoping I got lucky. Not sure he had time to get all my details but we'll wait and see. :doh:
