My daughter is 17 years old keen to open a Savings Account. However, every Account I have looked at requires you to be at least 18 years old.
Does anyone know of a Savings Account that has a good rate and would accept a 17 year old?

Our children all had Nationwide accounts which became Cash Builder accounts when they turned 16. The interest rate was ok (not sure what it is now). Then they turned them into Flexaccounts (Nationwide's current account) once they could have a debit card and chequebook at 18. They all still have the Flexaccounts due to the low cost of using the debit card abroad but they also opened student accounts with HSBC when they went to Uni to get the interest free overdraft and the free Young Persons Railcard. Have a look at Nationwide's 16-18 pages http://www.nationwide.co.uk/savings/under18/accounts_16.htm0
