Hi my dad had about 5 photo programes on his laptop but he found them hard to use, can anyone recommend an easy to use one, he basically want to make it easy to move files around into folders etc? xx

Google Picasa is probably the easiest and best integrated program for your father and it's free!
There are others such as StudioLine but be careful as there are different versions (Free and Paid-for).

    Hope this helps!

There is another one that I used to use some time ago; ACDSee but you have to pay for that one. Might be able to find an old 'free' version if you do a search...

If you want to transfer into files then the easiest is to make folder in whatever folder the pictures are in and drag the relevant photos into folder and name the folder oliday pics whatever .
Alternative but its a lot like Picasa is Adobe Photo Album which is i believe free.

jje advice sounds good - use Windows Explorer to organise photos into folders. For an easy to use photo browser and simple editor you may like to consider the free "Fastone Image Viewer" at http://www.faststone.org/

    Cheers from Mike :)
