  • From the imaginehomes website:

    All looks very familiar.

    From the imaginehomes website:
    Quote:
You choose a property from our large portfolio of off plan new build properties, all selected for their high rental yields and capital growth potential. We find the tenant and manage the property for the first two years post completion. After the two years you can inherit our tenant, sell the property, rent it out or move in. "

This is how many property developers sell their new builds abroad. Turkey is rife with them.

They 'guarantee' a 1 or 2 year rental income - and do indeed deposit the 'rent' into the buyer's account each month.

What they don't tell you, however, is that they've already added the 2 years rent onto the sale cost.

So in effect - the investor is only getting their OWN money back!!!

Oh, and just to add salt to the wound - they try to rent the property out for the 1 or 2 years and pocket the extra money themselves!!

Sad so sad I am sobbing as I write ,I think I will have a whip round and see what I can do to help.
  • But she insisted following the crash of the couple's property empire, she was more worried about the knock-on effects on others than on herself.
'Those people who moan about you driving around in your nice big car are forgetting the guy who washes the car now hasn't got a job or who did the maintenance on it.'

Referring to herself in the third person, she added: 'There is no way Anthea Turner can complain about anything in her life.'
She has to get use to washing her fleet of cars soon;)

For the love of God, the poor man is married to Anthea Turner, do you really need to kick someone when they are already so down? He might be a property developer but has the milk of human kindness really soured to that extent?

I can't cope with watching her on the t.v. Just got that look about her. What goes around comes around

Well, if they lose their portfolio, at least Anthea can make them a Tracy Island to live in.

The papier mache and toilet rolls used are probably too high quality for a new build flat though.

    fab post, loving it

Im not sure I understand how there was a market for Imagine Homes anyway, I can understand the interior design sector, if you really need someone to design how you're going to have the bathroom and matching t towels and cutlery etc, but why would you buy the flat from someone who originally bought the flat from the developers in the first place? wouldnt you just buy the flat off plan, get in someone to do the intererior design (if you're into that sort of thing) then sign up with a letting agent? I would have thought it was financial sense to avoid middle men at all costs?
