Kelloggs/Amazon free books offer end soon.

I thought I'd better try to use the code I had from Kelloggs, but had not used, as it was the last day of the offer. Took a while to work out my username etc, but eventually got to my code.

I went to the Amazon site and was not impressed with the list of books, so I though I would try the code on a different book as suggested earlier. The code worked and knocked off £6.25, so I thought I would try the code on a different offer (Thunderbirds DVD boxset). I deleted the book order and put the DVD in my basket. Unfortunately when I entered the code it said that it had been used.

I rang Amazon using the 0800 number mentioned on this thread and explained that I had changed my mind about the book I wanted and now the code was saying that it had been used. The Customer Service person was very helpful and said that they would send me a gift certificate for £7.00 (very pleased) and I would receive it within a couple of hours. Having downloaded my email I am pleased to say that the gift certificate is actually for £7.50 so the DVD boxset will be free with £0.07 left over.
