Kelloggs/Amazon free books offer end soon.

Just a quick reminder to anyone with outstanding vouchers from the Kelloggs/Amazon free book offer that it ends at the end of the month. The Amazon software driving it also seems to be acting rather stangely, and may well surprise you if you order a book without a code.

Thanks. Good reminder.
Kelloggs shows I have two unused certificates, but Amazon claims one of them has been used before, which is strange, because I have not used this in months, so kelloggs are not updating.koru0 -
Oddly enough, I had exactly the same problem - kelloggs site shows unused certs, yet amazon claim then used - and can "prove" which books were ordered. On the other hand, I'm pretty certain that I kept a reasonable tally of reclaimed kelloggs vouchers.
Previously, kelloggs certs were shown as "used" within 48 hours of usage.
If you want to be difficult, I suggest you use up a kelloggs cert, and then wipe all your cookies using something like eastec eraser - and then try again.
I'm 90% sure they've done me out of 4 vouchers......0 -
Not really worth the bother for a £3 book, especially as none on the list are books that I am gagging to read anyway.koru0

Hi
Can someone remind me how to get on the Kelloggs site to see my gift certificates please?

Well Done to OP for reminding me!

Couldn't agree more, especially as most of the time the books seem to have been from the gendre of "abused child made good".
HOWEVER, I had to gag on a whole heap of gruesome breakfast cereal to collect those bl**dy tokens..............0 -
If any kind soul has a spare code they can no longer use would they be so kind as to pm it to me. I have three codes but need the elusive 4th to get a certificate.
Thanks in advance0 -
Sorry tmb2000 but I think you'll find you can't redeem CODES any more - that ended 30 June 2005 - only the vouchers that you got in return for the 4 codes can now be redeemed (if you're lucky) until tomorrow 31/8.0

Forgot to mention: I got 3 vouchers. Only #1 was showing as redeemed last week. Tried to use #2 and Amazon system claimed it had been used. Tried #3 and it went through okay. THOUGHT I'd been "robbed" by the system and emailed Kelloggs to moan.
They replied that I should take it up with Amazon on 0800 279 6620
However before I rang I looked through Amazon online and my old orders and realised I had actually ordered that #2 voucher book six months ago - ie the Kelloggs site should have showed 'redeemed' and I had NOT been 'robbed'.
Anywayz that's the Amazon freephone number if you've got a last 27 hours of promotion query to take up with them.0
