Outlook 2007 with sky broadband

Please help, I've just upgraded to outlook 2007 (from outlook 2003) as my email client, however since doing so I cannot send/receive any emails and subsequently get an error message telling me this.

I've tried to tinker about with the settings following the guide provided by sky, but this still does not seem to work.

Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone know what I can do.

What is the error message exactly?

I can't remember what the message said, I got a bit carried away and deleted the existing account settings to start from scratch now it's worse as it won't accept the password.

I think I need to ring sky tonight when I finish work.

    Thanks all the same

All you should need is the username, password and pop3/smtp settings. it isn't too difficult.

I've just done a system restore in order to get the original settings back, (they worked with outlook 2003),

    I get two error messages,

basically saying I cannot connect with outgoing smtp server, also pop server

After getting in from work, I tried outlook and the settings worked. Never done anything, must have just been pc, playing up a bit.
