Monday 14/04/08 What small dfw things have you done today??

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today I have /will

Today I have got a mystery shop lined up for lunchtime, which will mean a pressie for the presents box!
Will check internet banking and update my spreadsheet...
Have brought in breakfast and lunch and dinner was made yesterday so no spends apart from the mystery shop!!

Pack and post 2 ebay items.
Book pickup of large ebay parcel.
List some more ebay items.
Do 1 wash, on a 30 quick wash.
Airer dry as its hammering it down today waaaaaah!
Do Piggy clicks.
Joined up to greasypalm via MSE last night, so will have a nosey at the site today.
Dinner is chicken stirfry using yesterdays leftover chicken. Slowly getting the hang of not over feeding everyone and instead saving it to use the next day
Will walk to post office to save petrol and also free exercise, so will go the loooooong way round lol.0 -

Today I have / will:
check online banking (ugh!)
have leftovers for tea
do the washing and put on airer to dry
plan meal for tomorrow and get out of the freezer
make some bread in the breadmaker
Not so DFW: bought lunch in morrisons as no bread this morning for sarnies
had to buy 2x birthday card, 1x birthday chocolate plaque, 1x bottle bag (though champagne going in it is one that we were given, so that won't cost anything!).
