Try the Asda in Coryton. There was a stand behind the checkouts when I was there on Monday, offering "life-style" photo shoots (mom, dad & kids on beach. girl on own. kids playing together etc) but there was an example with a teenage girl on her own in a glamourous type shot. I'm presuming thats what you wanted

Not tried them, though I am considering it for a xmas pressie for my mother.:A:A:A:A:A:A0 -
When my son was younger we had some professional photos of him taken at Olan Mills - unsure whether you will have these stores in Wales. We purchased a package that entitled us to four photo sessions over a year and one could include a beauty session beforehand, but obviously we had no need for that and each session could include any number of people (even the dog) up to a maximum of 15. This was fairly reasonably priced too, sorry but I cant remember the exact amount as it was several years ago.
Apologies to previous poster, but your daughter would probably feel more relaxed in a studio than at the back of a supermarket with all and sundry looking on and therefore she would look more relaxed in photos I imagine. There's no woman sicker than the woman who is sick on her day off !0 -
Just checked their website (https://www.olanmills.co.uk) and it appears they have a studio in Cardiff (Cowbridge Road East). There's no woman sicker than the woman who is sick on her day off !0

be VERY careful with venture ... they do some beautiful portraits but they are VERY VERY expensive ... i know some one who paid about £1000 for a portrait !!!!!!
there offers are tempting but check what you are getting for your money (ie what size print) also ask what price a ... say... 10x 12 or a 12x16 costs BEFORE you go
theier marketing department is sooo good its unreal and as i say they do such beautiful portraits that its hard to walk out and leave them there .
btw im not saying dont go im just advising you to find out how much its really gooing to cost before you goTHESE ARE THE GOOD OLD DAYS ……
..…JUST WAIT AND SEE0 -

This is not in Cardiff but Ive been twice with my mum and it was a brilliant day out if u can get the train maybe.
Its on Oxford Street London
Go to https://www.londontown.co.uk and its the deluxe makeover not the standard one. Absolutly brilliant! The first time we went we spent £200 on 13 pictures but the second time they offered us a CD with all the pictures taken (approx 70) for just £100.
They make you look amazing, its worth going just for the haircut. I will be going again in about 2 months time, they made me feel like a model0 -
I would definately recommend Olan Mills you will get an excellent product well suited to your needs, obviously their aim is to punt you on extras so be wary of the viewing set your price and stick to it and face up to the fact that those you don't select may go in the bin, so what, you can always have another session, go for the clubplan with the makeover shoot (three or four sittings over a year, 1no 10 x 8 free with each sitting, one sitting at makeover studio in Newport which would be an excellent opportunity to compile a portfolio at a reasonable price,)contact their office and ask for the telemarketing number, or better still if you have a friend who uses them get them to recommend you and they get an upgrade on one of their free photo's to 11x14 and they can also bargain so that you get the upgrade too, barter with them over any package price they offer you, they can move on prices so play hard with them.
BUT don't give them your home telephone number they will bombard you with telesales calls give them a mobile number!Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
