Am I entitled to tax return?

I was wondering if anyone could help me. My tax code is 509L and my gross income is GBP 9, 000. Out of that, I've paid GBP 500, so am I entitled to claim that tax back. And if so, how? I'm an International student working part-time, studying full-time.
Thank you for your help

You're not entitled to claim tax back as all students residing in the UK regardless of nationality have to pay tax on any amount they earn over their personal tax free allowance and £500 is about correct for what you've posted.0

In fact it would appear you've underpaid tax - http://www.listentotaxman.com/index.php?c=1&yr=2007&age=0&add=0&code=509L&pension=0&time=1&ingr=9000&vw[]=yr&vw[]=mth&vw[]=wk would suggest you should have paid £592.60Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0
